18 Hole Ron Garl Golf Course
The centerpiece of the Canebrake Club Community is its 18-hole golf course, designed by nationally recognized golf course architect, Ron Garl. Garl designed the course with a naturalist's eye, sculpting the fairways and greens to preserve the landscape of Piney Creek as scenic elements and key challenges to players. The course offers a test to players of all skill levels with an intermingling of long open holes and short tight holes.
Golf Practice Facilities
Experts and novices alike with benefit from the golf practice facilities, including a large driving range, practice chipping and pitching area and two putting greens. Top quality instruction from our PGA professionals is available.
The Golf Lodge
The Golf Lodge provides amenities for members and guests of Canebrake Club. Whether it's a pre-round sandwich or a meal for family and friends, The Grille at Canebrake can accommodate any appetite. In addition to the Grille, the 6500 square foot Golf Lodge is where you'll find Partini's Lounge, locker rooms, our golf pro shop and our administrative offices.
Tennis and Swim Facilities
If tennis is your game, indulge your competitive spirit on one of our 6 state-of-the-art fast-dry clay tennis courts. Tennis professional, Craig Shamwell, is available to help with your game in private and group settings. He also organizes events for you to show off your tennis prowess or to have a fun day on the courts. Canebrake Club is a USTA member.
Come swim or just soak up the sun by the pool, where a comfortable deck area will provide you with hours of relaxation and enjoyment with family and friends. Social activities are scheduled at the pool during the summer months, and we have attendants on duty to take food orders and deliver them while you relax poolside.
