Welcome to Canebrake Club in Athens. We appreciate your interest in membership. Our club is surrounded by a beautiful, Ron Garl-designed 18-hole championship golf course, situated on Piney Creek. This wonderful course hosted the 2005 Alabama Open. The course is designed to challenge golfers of all levels, and is considered one of the top courses in the Southeast. Our PGA professional staff is here to assist you with your game and equipment needs. The golf pro shop carries name brand golf equipment and will special order to meet your personal needs.

Canebrake Club also features 6 fast-dry clay tennis courts and a pool. Tennis lessons and activities are provided by the club's USTA professional. The club also offers a full-service tennis pro shop for your equipment needs. In the summer months, join us at the Canebrake Club pool!

Founders House is open Wednesday through Monday and is closed on Tuesdays. Founders House features a daily golfers' menu and lunch specials on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Enjoy a scrumptious lunch buffet every Sunday. We also offer monthly, reservation-only, seated dinners to members, as well as other social activities for the entire family.
