The Holidays are almost here. The days are short, the leaves have fallen and frosty mornings are the norm. We still want to see you at the club and that is why we have some fun events planned to get you out. Besides his normal monthly offerings, Chef Ron has a few specials planned for you.
Thursday night is steak night. Then, this Friday, Richie and Deemer will be entertaining at the club from 7 until 11 p.m. Come out and enjoy the music while dining on one of Chef Ron’s specials for the evening.
REMEMBER, ALL OF CHEF RON'S SPECIAL EVENTS REQUIRE AN RSVP. SO CALL 232-2412, Ext. 3 now, or EMAIL YOUR RSVP's for these popular events.
With your November statement you will receive a reminder for Canebrake’s annual employee holiday fund. Participation is completely optional and confidential. Thank you for your consideration. I have seen many of you working out, taking advantage of our arrangement with Sorts Fit. The proximity to Canebrake has made it a natural fit for our members and residents. If you haven’t joined yet, ask them about the great deal for our Canebrake members.
On behalf of the entire staff at Canebrake, we would like to thank you for your patronage and friendship. We hope your Thanksgiving finds you in the presence of cherished family and loved ones.
Happy Holidays,
Jack

Thanks to the efforts of Athens City Councilman and Canebrake resident, Harold Wales, the city has installed a set of emergency alert sirens on the south side of Lindsay Lane, just south of the construction entrance. These sirens can be heard in all directions for up to five miles. Our thanks to Harold for his efforts. Now, when severe weather or other emergencies threaten, Canebrake residents will be warned along with other Athens residents.

Making plans for the holidays? Canebrake Club is co-sponsoring the Athens Charity Ball on New Years Eve. This black tie event will be held on the Square in Athens at the Boys and Girls Clubhouse. For complete details, CLICK HERE.

Chef Ron's last two special events were well attended. The new "ribeye filet" was a big hit with everyone who came to Ron's Steak Out. The recent Seafood Bash wowed the members. Ron's featured entre had scallops, bacon wrapped shrimp and orange ruffie stuffed with crab meat. If you missed these epecurian delights, be sure to watch the calendar and make reservations for Ron's upcoming dinners.
