An ARC application for gazebo, golf cart registration, fence and landscaping plan at 22088 Kennemer Lane, Lot 32, James Heminover was submitted to the ARC. The gazebo was approved based on ARC application as submitted. The fence and landscaping plan cannot be approved until plot plan is submitted. There is no registration for golf carts required for non clubhouse golf carts.

An ARC application for 5’ rear variance at 14249 Muirfield, Lot R-44, Roger Martin was approved based on ARC application as submitted with additional provisions.

In general, the Architectural Review Committee recommends the placement of satellites to be on the side of the house and hidden or screened, if possible, from the street and the golf course. We also understand that the satellite installers are installing in such a manner to be most economical to the installer, not the most conductive positioning for the homeowner or community.

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING - JANUARY 22ND, 2009

The Canebrake Architectural Review Committee (ARC) met on January 22, 2009 at Christopher Realty Sales Office. Members present were Donald Hudleson, Taz Morrell, Rich Little, Billy Christopher, Patricia Fulmer, Hughes Properties and Christopher Realty Secretary, Hazel Cox.

NEW BUSINESS:

An ARC application at 24192 Piney Creek, Lot t-35, David and Amy Tyler to place basket ball goal in driveway was approved based on ARC application as submitted.

An ARC application for fencing at 22285 Troon Dr, Lot T-7, Martin Lindsey was approved based on ARC application as submitted.

The next ARC meeting is scheduled for February 5, 2009 at 3:30 pm at Christopher Realty Sales Office located at 22095 Canebrake Lane.

The Canebrake Architectural Review Committee (ARC) met on January 8, 2009 at Christopher Realty Sales Office. Members present were Steve Smith, Taz Morrell, Rich Little, Billy Christopher and Christopher Realty Secretary, Hazel Cox.

New Business:

An ARC application at 22902 Riviera Dr., Lot P-21, Marv Price to remove and replace existing wooden deck, railing and steps with black wrought iron railing and steps was approved based on ARC application as submitted.

An ARC application for fencing and for patio enclosure at 23442 Piney Creek , Lot P-151, Jack Herrell was approved based on ARC application as submitted.

An ARC application for new home construction at 14209 Muirfield, Lot R-41, Russ Mitchell was approved based on ARC application as submitted.

An ARC application for new home construction at 23362 Founders Circle, Lot E-21 was approved based on ARC application as submitted.

The Canebrake Architectural Review Committee (ARC) met on November 13, 2008 at Christopher Realty Sales Office. Members present were Steve Smith, Taz Morrell, Rich Little, Donald Hudleson, Billy Christopher, along with Hughes Properties manager, Patricia Fulmer and Christopher Realty secretary, Hazel Cox.

New Business:

An ARC application for landscaping plan and deck request at 14513 Turnberry Lane, Lot 76, Castle Construction, Kris Johnson, was approved based on application as submitted with conditions recommended by ARC.

An ARC application for landscape plan at 22814 Riviera Dr., Lot P-14, Robert Noffke, was approved based on application as submitted with conditions recommended by ARC.

An ARC application for fence/landscape plan at 24120 Piney Creek, Lot T-37, Matt Homan, has been approved based on application as submitted with conditions recommended by ARC.

An ARC application for fence/landscape plan at 22760 Winged Foot Ln, Lot P-33, Kenneth Brown, was approved based on application as submitted with conditions recommended by ARC.

An ARC application for landscape plan, satellite dish, a/c unit and basketball goal at 14182 Murfield Dr., Lot R-18, Ricky Burgreen was approved based on application as submitted with conditions recommended by ARC.

An ARC application for pool/landscape plan and privacy fence around pool at 23050 Founders Circle, Lot E-28, Jimmy Bryan, LLC was approved based on application as submitted with conditions recommended by ARC.

An ARC application to cover back deck with pergola like structure at 23016 Founders Circle, Lot T-28, John Curran, was approved based on ARC application as submitted.

An ARC application for satellite dish at 23837 Piney Creek, Lot P-122, Claude Nelson, was approved based on application as submitted with conditions recommended by ARC.

The Canebrake Architectural Review Committee (ARC) met on October 9, 2008 at the Christopher Realty Sales Office. Members present were Taz Morrell, Rich Little, Billy Christopher, along with Hughes Properties manager, Patricia Fulmer and Christopher Realty secretary, Hazel Cox.

New Business:
An ARC application for 23837 Piney Creek, Lot 122 - Marty and Monica Nelson request installing a fire pit, extend privacy wall and to add a fence. The application was approved based on application as submitted with conditions as recommended by ARC.

An ARC application for additional landscaping at 20370 Piney Creek, Lot P-95, Sheri Siniard was approved based on ARC application as submitted.

An ARC application to install a remote controlled, motorized retractable awning on back porch at 24111 Piney Creek, Lot 49, John and Ricki Jordan was approved based on ARC application as submitted.

The next ARC meeting is scheduled for October 23, 2008 at 3:30 pm at Christopher Realty Sales Office located at 22095 Canebrake Lane.

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING - SEPTEMBER 10TH, 2008

The Canebrake Architectural Review Committee (ARC) met on September 10, 2008 at Christopher Realty Sales Office. Members present were Taz Morrell, Rich Little, Billy Christopher, Donald Hudleston, along with Hughes Properties manager, Patricia Fulmer and Christopher Realty secretary, Hazel Cox.

Old Business:
An ARC application for satellite dish at 14181 Muirfield Dr, Lot R-39, Linda Schuett was declined until a more complete landscaping plan for screening is submitted.

The ARC recommended requirements for new construction at 23849 Piney Creek Drive, Lot P123, Nicholas Homes, Kirk Johnson was submitted and the approval given based on ARC application and requirements.

New Business:

The ARC committee welcomed new members Donald Hudleston and Rich Little.

An ARC application for satellite dish at 14208 Muirfield Dr, Lot R-16, John Marlin was not approved until a site plan and a landscaping plan is submitted.

An ARC application for landscaping plan at 20370 Piney Creek, Lot P-95, Sheri Siniard was approved based on ARC application as submitted.

An ARC application for a house plan for new construction at 24093 Piney Creek, Lot T-50, Brenda Jarke was declined due to house plan not meeting subdivision regulations.

The next ARC meeting is scheduled for Sept. 25, 2008 at 3:30 pm at Christopher Realty Sales Office located at 22095 Canebrake Lane.

The Canebrake Architectural Review Committee (ARC) met on August 27, 2008 at Christopher Realty Sales Office. Members present were Taz Morrell, Tracey Gaston, Steve Smith, along with Hughes Properties manager, Patricia Fulmer and Christopher Realty secretary, Hazel Cox.

Old Business:
Several previous applications remain unresolved while waiting on re-submission of required information.

New Business:

14438 Crooked Stick Place, Jim McClary received variance from the City of Athens Zoning Board of Adjustments for setback to cover his rear patio and was approved by committee based on ARC application as submitted.

An ARC application for fence at 23016 Founders Circle, Lot 28, John Curran, was approved based on ARC application as submitted.

An ARC application for landscaping plan at 14208 Muirfield, Lot R-16, John Marlin was approved based on ARC application as submitted.

The next ARC meeting is scheduled for Sept. 10, 2008 at 11:30 pm at Christopher Realty Sales Office located at 22095 Canebrake Lane.
