Canebrake Club Membership
Welcome to Canebrake Club in Athens. We appreciate your interest in membership. Our club is surrounded by a beautiful, Ron Garl-designed 18-hole championship golf course, situated on Piney Creek. This wonderful course hosted the 2005 Alabama Open. The course is designed to challenge golfers of all levels, and is considered one of the top courses in the Southeast. Our PGA professional staff is here to assist you with your game and equipment needs. The golf pro shop carries name brand golf equipment and will special order to meet your personal needs.
Canebrake Club also features 6 fast-dry clay tennis courts and a pool. Tennis lessons and activities are provided by the club's USTA professional. The club also offers a full-service tennis pro shop for your equipment needs. In the summer months the large pool has lifeguards, a snack bar and a pool director who plans pool activities.
The Canebrake Grille is open Wednesday through Monday, from 7:30am until 8pm, and is closed on Tuesdays. The Grille features a daily golfers' menu and lunch specials on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Enjoy a scrumptious lunch buffet every Sunday. We also offer monthly, reservation-only, seated dinners to members, as well as other social activities for the entire family.

Membership Classifications
FULL GOLF MEMBERSHIP
A Full Golf Membership allows you to enjoy all of the golf, tennis, swimming, and social facilities of the club. You pay no green fees or court fees for use of the golf and tennis facilities. However, you are required to pay a golf cart fee. Please see the Requirements and Restrictions below.
JUNIOR GOLF MEMBERSHIP
A Junior Golf Membership allows you to enjoy all of the benefits of the Full Golf Membership at a reduced initiation fee with special dues. Please see the Requirements and Restrictions below.
NON-RESIDENT MEMBERSHIP
A Non-Resident Membership allows you to enjoy all of the benefits of the Full Golf Membership at a reduced initiation fee with special dues. Please see the Requirements and Restrictions below.
CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
A Corporate Membership entitles a business entity to designate 4 people to use the Club facilities. Each designee of the Corporate Membership will be required to pay full dues and will enjoy the Club facilities as a Full Golf Member.
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP
A Social Membership allows full usage of the social, tennis, and swimming facilities. All social events are open, as well as full usage of the bar, Partini's – which is for members only. Social Members are also allowed to use the golf facilities four times a year.
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
A Student Golf Membership allows the use of the golf facilities only at a reduced initiation fee with special dues. Please see the Requirements and Restrictions below.
